Nowadays, television programmes show us how sportmen's lifes are. This is because they earn a lot of money playing their favourite sport.

First, there are some people that work really hard every day and who earn a low salary, the minimum for cover their necessities,
It is clear that some people, for example doctors, who have got an important job in  our society, because they save lives constantly, should be paid more than people that score goals.

In addition, I believe it's unethical that sportwomen aren't so recognize than men.

To sum up, I realise that there are a lot of unfair actions in this world, especially concerning salaries and women.

VIDEO COMMENT

The video "Flipping the classroom" tells that often classes at school aren't sufficiently productive because not everyone learns at the same pace or in the same way. Some students need more time to understand things.
But there is a more effective way to learn and is a flipped classroom that makes learning more personal because the teacher does a video with the content taught in class, so students can watch it as many times as they wish and then ask in class if they have doubts.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE SCHOOL BANYOLES CELEBRATES ITS 10th BIRTHDAY

Last Thursday, 8^th October at 6:00 pm, the OLS Banyoles celebrated its 10^th Birthday in the Auditorium L’Ateneu.

First of all, Annie Gili, who is the principal of the school, talked about the school, which was a challenge 10 years ago and now it’s a success: “we ran the risk but now the school is filled up”- she said. The director of the Educational department in Girona, Albert Bayot, talked about the importance of introducing other languages in this project.

The school received congratulations on the part of Miquel Noguer, the mayor of the town.

Finally, Sebastià Serrano, who is a linguist and a communication expert and professor at UB gave a entitled: “Communication in the third millennium”.

This public school, which is situated at 155 Llibertat street (Banyoles) has right now 400 students and 6 teachers, 4 of them are English teachers and the other 2 are French teachers.

As a result of this success, it seems that this school will increase and it will introduce more teachers, languages and classes too!

If we were you, we would go to Girona, which is a big city with a lot of activities to do. For example, you could visit the cathedral, several museums and have a relaxing afternoon in "La Devesa" park.

Walking through the streets of Girona you can find some restaurants, a shopping centre and to spend a great time at night you should go to the main street, where you can meet a lot of people in the best pubs and discos. 

Moreover, you can go to Banyoles by bus and visit the peaceful lake and of course us!
